This was a really wonderful project to be a part of, what started as an expanded version of Mr. Hair & The Fly, quickly grew into a huge game, full of quirky characters and amazing locations. I have to also talk about the amazing animations by Richard Langford, that this time followed closely Stevensons' pixel art style and gave the game some of its more memorable moments.

About the music, this is my biggest project so far, with seven original songs, some of them reworked versions from older Mr. Hair games.
Really loved working on this, I was able to reuse some old ideas and sketches I had laying around that sounded amazing but never found their rightful place. It seems all along they were destined for this game as after being reworked they just fit perfectly.

All music was composed on Vortex Tracker using TurboSound mode, so hypothetically all of these can be played on a Spectrum Next computer. If anyone is up to the challenge of converting the game (nothing we did here should be impossible on the Next), the music's already done. ;)

About the game:

Unfortunately, the fortunes of Mr Hair’s home planet somehow rely on a magical chalice which, unfortunately again, has been nicked by some very dodgy alien creatures from a neighbouring star system.
Prince Hairy is under increasing pressure from his princess Meghan Moptop to retrieve this valuable cup as, without it, she feels unable to keep up the high standard of living to which she has grown accustomed.

Prince Hairy is obviously way above carrying out this mission himself, what with being a prince and all, so enlists the help of Mr Hair - intrepid explorer, daring adventurer and all round good egg.

Guide Mr. Hair through the alien planet avoiding it's weird and wonderful inhabitants as much as possible. Seek out the batteries which unlock keys and open up previously inaccessible areas of the map. Use the mystical transporters to turn into the fly and reach the parts a single strand of hair wouldn't usually be able reach.

Find the magical chalice and get outta there!
